“Sands China Presents: Dopamine: Fountain of Happiness” is a cross-temporal dialogue on happiness, featuring collaborative works between contemporary artists from Asia, Europe, and the Americas with the iconic Sesame Street. Where the eternal beauty of Roman mythology meets Sesame Street, artists weave a vibrant tapestry of happiness in Macao through the language of color. The catalogue also includes pieces from the collateral exhibition – Beyond the Frame, where artists explore the dissolution and transformation of artistic boundaries in a global context through diverse mediums—painting, sculpture, installation, and mixed media. More than just an exhibition record for Art Macao 2025, this is a collective pursuit of pure happiness—artists crafting unique “happiness formulas” through intuition and creativity, turning each page into a dopamine-triggering experience.

These patterns reminiscent of dopamine molecules, alongside bold, vibrant hues, offer a vivid interpretation of "happiness in its purest form." Beyond documentation, this catalogue is an experiment in the essence of happiness—where the lines between tradition and modernity dissolve in creativity, proving that joy needs no elaborate explanation. It lives in the unconscious smile while flipping a page, in the interplay of color and form, and in the unspoken connection between artist and viewer.
